White and Summers Hornbook on the Uniform Commercial Code 5th Edition or Introduction to Health Care Economics and Financial Management

White and Summers' Hornbook on the Uniform Commercial Code, 5th Edition (Hornbook Series)

Author: James J Whit

This book addresses mainly general concepts and principles of the Code, its basic structure, and the relations of part to part and of part to whole. The book discusses illustrative case law as well. This provides the student with a basis for specific understanding and adds concrete flavor to the generalized Code text. The authors have also discussed the basic policies that lie behind numerous Code articles and sections. And understanding of these greatly facilitates student grasp of the technical intricacies and structural interrelations of Code sections and Articles.

Also addressed are recent actual or proposed revisions of the Code. Sections on Articles 1, 3, 4, 4A, and 5 deal extensively with revisions recently adopted by the sponsors of the Uniform Commercial Code.

Above all the authors have dried to provide concise yet systematic overall discussions of the parts of Code Articles that they think to be of most significance for the law student.
